AVIFF Art Film Festival:
For 15 years, the AVIFF festival has presented artists’ films in Cannes in May, as another “cinema,” a third way/voice between cinema and visual arts, cinematographic works and contemporary works of art.
Since then, the AVIFF festival has become an essential venue for exchanges between authors, directors, artists, and film industry professionals, who come from all over the world to meet audiences.

Throughout the year, the Festival presents its official selection in partner venues, both public and private, as well as cultural and educational institutions, according to a program negotiated with the host venues and the artists.

Since June 2023, the AVIFF festival has moved to Marseille to meet other audiences and open new horizons in this multicultural city brimming with creativity.
The 2025 edition will be held at the Artplexe, a new cinema complex in the heart of Marseille at 125 La Canebière, in a 127-seat theater.

Since 2012, the AVIFF Festival has been supported by artist Angel Orensanz, who awards an annual prize to a film in the official selection: the “AVIFF & Angel Orensanz” Prize.
